What I Packed - Barcelona

In a matter of a few hours I’ll be on a plane, flying to Barcelona! I love visiting new cities (it’s my favourite kind of holiday) and I’m really excited to discover the beautiful places this city has to offer!

We always travel for only a few days, so we only take a carry-on bag with us. I usually save a few samples and mini sizes to take with me, this way I can try new things (or use things I know I’ve loved in the past), and make room for holiday purchases. The thing that my boyfriend leaves with a few disposable contact lenses makes room for a couple of cheeky buys too!

Travel Skincare Barcelona

Skincare wise, I’m taking:
Make Up Forever Sens’Eyes makeup remover, a really gentle product to remove my waterproof mascara;
Vichy Pureté Thermale 3 in 1 Micellar Solution, to remove the bulk of my face makeup before cleansing;
Vichy Normaderm Purifying Gel, a gel cleanser that I usually find a bit to drying but I hope will work in hot weather;
Dior Hydra Life Pro-Youth Sorbet Eye Crème, as my eye cream for this few days;
Vichy Idéalia Life Serum, to use under my day cream as I’ve never tried it;
Vichy Aqualia Thèrmal Light Cream, a light moisturizer that should be hydrating enough;
Benefit Dream Screen SPF45 PA+++ as my sunscreen of choice as I’m going to be in the sun all day and this is wonderfully light;
Sundance SPF30 as a body sunscreen;
Amuchina gel hand sanitizer;
Mentadent Maximum Protection toothpaste.

Travel Makeup Barcelona

Makeup:
Dior Diorskin Nude BB crème 002 as my base of choice, I used it while in Berlin exactly a year ago and loved it;
Makeup Forever Full Cover Concealer lasts all day and can be mixed with skincare to make a lightweight long lasting base if needed (see my Poolside Makeup here!);
MAC Blot Powder Pressed as I simply can’t live without it (hear me going on about it here and here);
Benefit They’re Real! Push-Up Liner for a simple and quick daily eye makeup that will look appropriate in every occasion (read my review here);
L’Oreal Paris False Lash Flutter Waterproof Mascara because it’s simply amazing (see it in action here) and it’s on its last legs so more space in my bag for the flight home;
Benefit Gimme Brow as it gives perfect long lasting brows in a matter of seconds;
Nars Laguna for a bit of bronzed glow (and an attempt to match my face to my “tanned” body a little bit more);
MAC Dainty Mineralize Blush because it’s the perfect companion to any bronzer;
Dior Addict Lip Glow because it’s hydrating and can be carried around and applied in any moment (it was in my last monthly favourites here!);
KENZO JEU d’Amour since I liked it a first sniff.

Here it’s what I’m taking with me for this trip to Barcelona. What do you love taking with you? Do you travel with carry-on only too?

Make Up Forever Sens’Eyes uno struccante molto delicato per rimuovere il trucco waterproof;
Vichy Pureté Thermale 3 in 1 Micellar Solution, per rimuovere il grosso del trucco prima della detersione;
Vichy Normaderm Purifying Gel, un gel detergente che di solito trovo un po’ troppo aggressivo ma che spero vada bene con caldo estivo;
Dior Hydra Life Pro-Youth Sorbet Eye Crème, come contorno occhi per questi pochi giorni;
Vichy Idéalia Life Serum, da usare sotto la mia crema da giorno visto che non l’ho mai provato;
Vichy Aqualia Thèrmal Light Cream, una crema leggera che dovrebbe essere abbastanza idratante;
Benefit Dream Screen SPF45 PA+++ come protezione quotidiana visto che sarò al sole tutto il giorno ed è meravigliosamente leggero;
Sundance SPF30 come solare per il corpo;
Amuchina gel igenizzante mani;
Mentadent Maximum Protection come dentifricio.

Makeup:
Dior Diorskin Nude BB crème 002 come fondotinta, l’ho usato esattamente un anno fa a Berlino ed è andata benissimo;
Makeup Forever Full Cover Concealer dura tutto il giorno e può essere mischiato con la crema giorno o la protezione per una base leggera a lunga durata se necessario (vedi il mio makeup da piscina qui!);
MAC Blot Powder Pressed visto che non posso proprio farne a meno (ne parlo quie qui);
Benefit They’re Real! Push-Up Liner per un trucco occhi semplice e veloce adatto ad ogni occasione (potete leggere la mia recensione qui);
L’Oreal Paris False Lash Flutter Waterproof Mascara perché è semplicemente fantastico (eccolo in azione qui) e visto che sta per finire lascerà un po’ di posto in più per il viaggio di ritorno;
Benefit Gimme Brow perché crea sopracciglia perfette e a lunga durata in una manciata di secondi;
Nars Laguna per un po’ di colorito in più al mio viso (e per tentare di farlo assomigliare un po’ di più al mio corpo “abbronzato”);
MAC Dainty Mineralize Blush perché è il compagno perfetto di ogni bronzer;
Dior Addict Lip Glow perché è idratante e può essere portato in giro e applicato in ogni momento (era nei miei ultimi preferiti del mese qui!);
KENZO JEU d’Amour perché mi è piaciuto da subito.

Ecco che cosa porterò con me per questo viaggio a Barcellona. Cosa amate portare con voi? Viaggiate anche voi con il bagaglio a mano?

  16. I love everything I've tried from them if I'm honest :) Their Normaderm range is awesome for acne prone skin (I used their night cream for ages in my teens), and the others are fantastic too... The Aqualia range is really lovely because has a moisturizer for everyone, and the newish Idealia one is awesome too! Probably though my favourite product from them is the body scrub from the Nutriextra line, I adore it ;)
    Thank you lovely! I've jut come back and I loved it a lot too! :) xx
